Yes we are an event agency – we’ve designed and managed events for doctors, rockstars, corporates, rev heads, fashionistas, sales men and women and most people in between. But that’s not all we do…
We can design, build and fabricate pretty much anything… from a floating 40m long fish on the Yarra to a “warming hut” on the top of Mt Buller, to lecterns, sound booths, photobooths, media walls, bars, coffee stations, merch booths, walls to hide stuff, walls to showcase stuff… and everything else a good event needs.
Most agencies are just that… agencies. We are different because we have combined a start in events 25 years ago with the innate knowledge of how things are actually executed and we execute in-house, resulting in better design and cost saving for our clients.

Logistics Manager
Lucas has worked with some of the biggest names in the business and is a gun when it comes to getting concepts from the storyboard to the ground or above and beyond. From creating putting greens for Tiger Woods to sipping Prosecco in the Birdcage he takes every project to the next level.
Creative and Account Manager
Likes to think of himself as a ‘Jack of all Trades – but really he’s only interested in the creative side of things. Originally from a fashion background, J-Lo is our resident designer and stylist and loves nothing more than creative problem solving.
Engineer
Mark is our VERY qualified engineer. When it comes to the technical stuff, most of us don’t understand what he’s talking about – but we all nod politely. He’s eternally patient with Jesse and Jack’s designs and makes sure everything at The Laneway Group is built safely and strongly.
Chief Welder
The engine room behind some of our biggest projects. He’s been welding for forty years and didn’t even blink when we asked for a 40 metre long bar in the shape of a fish that was capable of floating down the Yarra River.
Graphic Design
Our in house Graphic Designer (read: secret weapon). Everybody knows that this industry can be volatile, which is why you need KC in your corner. She’s capable of turning artwork around under the tightest of deadlines – websites, invitations, media walls, wallpaper and everything in between.
